The UConnect resource is provided by UTAS to assist students to set up their own computers for study at UTAS. While IT Services have made every effort to provide the UConnect resource free of defects including viruses or any other harmful components, students use the UConnect at their own risk .
Accordingly, and subject to the law, UTAS does not accept any liability for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered by a student in using the UConnect service including any loss or damage caused by the negligence of UTAS employees, agents or subcontractors. In the event that UTAS is liable under any statutory provision, such liability is limited to the cost of replacing the service.
